Zoom Platinum Kanazawa-Haku Fountain Pen Moon & Rabbit Platinum Kanazawa-Haku Fountain Pen Moon & Rabbit

Platinum Kanazawa-Haku Fountain Pen - hand-decorated with finest gold leaf. The master craftsmen of Kanazawa produce some of the world's finest gold leaf, in an array of shimmering colours. Fragments of gold and silver leaf are hand-applied to these beautiful and graceful pens to create glowing renditions of traditional Japanese motifs.

Featured here is a white rabbit running over grassland in the light of the full moon. A variety of different techniques of applying gold leaf are used in depicting the moon and autumn grasses, while delicate silver lines portray the rabbit on silver leaf.

The 18k gold nib is firm and resilient, and not too soft, cut to provide a perfect balance between the necessary resilience and ease of writing. Choice of medium or fine nib.

Kanazawa-Haku is 137mm long closed; 124mm open 152mm posted, 13mm diameter and 17.2g in weight.

Uses Platinum ink cartridges or fit a converter (available separately) for use with bottled ink. Platinum recommends Platinum Fountain Pen Ink, though of course any quality bottled ink can be used.

Supplied in a luxury wooden gift box, with an outer card wrap resembling handmade paper. A truly inspiring gift - for yourself or for a very lucky recipient.
