Inspired by the ideals of the Bauhaus, Otto Hutt's goal is simple: To create high-quality products in a unique style. They were founded in 1920 by Karl Hutt, that's over 100 years ago, so it has clearly worked!
Otto Hutt started out making writing instruments and pocket accessories made of silver intended for everyday use. Karl Hutt founded the company but its name is taken from his son, Otto, who took over the company from his father in the 1960s. Making items from silver is a tradition which has carried through to today, with many of their pens still featuring parts made from sterling silver.
The pinnacle of all Otto Hutt writing instruments: The Design C. Beautifully designed and meticulously crafted. This beauty of a fountain pen is made from 925 sterling silver which is highly polished. Small brass pink on the side of the cap and pen act as an anti roll mechanism.
The pen is filled using a specially developed filling mechanism for the design C which employs a 'Pull & Twist' motion where a slow pull will bring the pen to the filling position and then need only be dipped into an inkwell and twisted back to take up ink via the nib. This specially designed system adheres to Otto Hutts constant drive for innovation that is user-oriented. Design C is the first pen in the world to deploy this system and the only one in Otto Hutt's range to date. A fine way to celebrate 100 years of Otto Hutt.
The buttery smooth extra-large 18-carat yellow gold bicoloured nib makes it a delight to write with, offering minimal resistance and allowing it to glide over the page effortlessly.
Presented in an luxurious silver collectors gift box and supplied with a sustainably sourced whale leather pen pouch made from vegetable-tanned and natural product(not actual Whale leather!) cleaning cloth, care manual, a numbered certificate of authenticity and a bottle of document-proof ink. Weighs 34g which includes 1g of gold in the nib.

FREE Royal Mail Standard delivery for orders over £40, and just £2.50 for smaller orders. Royal Mail Priority is available as an option, for £3.50 on orders over £40, £5.50 on smaller orders. Express available for £9, or FREE with any order over £400. No delivery surcharges for Northern Ireland, Highlands & Islands or anywhere else!
International
International deliveries vary in cost, so you'll need to add the items you want to your basket, and enter the checkout to see the options for delivery. Prices and payment methods will reflect your country, and many countries have all taxes and duties included to make things easier and more predictable.
