LAMY Lx Rau Rose Gold fountain pen and LAMY softcover A5 notebook in black.
The Lx (pronounced 'luxe') was originally produced as part of LAMY's 50th anniversary celebrations. This Rau is rose gold in colour. Like the rest of the range, it bears a family resemblance to the much-loved AL-star, but enjoys a more refined finish. It's made from the same lightweight, durable aluminium, and while it also has the same oversized, flexible pocket clip, the chrome has been plated to match the barrel colour. Transparent black plastic grip area and ink-view window.
The nib is also a little different: it's black PVD-coated and has a stylish pinstripe highlight around the slit. Supplied with a Medium nib.
Supplied with a blue T10 LAMY ink cartridge. Can also be used with the Z28 converter, available separately, for bottled ink.
The notebook features a matt black cover with a rose gold geometric pattern and the LAMY branding, plus elastic closure, integrated pen holder and two fabric page markers. The ruling is 'LAMY ruling': not quite squared, not quite lined and not quite dotgrid, but a combination of all three.
